my bearings correct, the causway should to the rear by the building
with the stacks (steam plant?).
I think we're looking south by southwest. They seem to have screwed about with
the terrain in the intervening 69 years without consulting us, so I am not
sure. I had a look at Google's maps of the area, but they seem to have been
coy about putting any detail on the site.
I just took a look at another picture from the Life series... See
attached. Baker island is there, but the causeway must be artificial.
The causeway should be to the left of the seaplane hanger.
I'd have to dig out my CFB Trenton 50 years anniversary book and see
if there's a mention of them putting in the causeway and when.
