Default Getting current after several years.

O.K.
I am now a high-paid (ha!) a/c mechanic at a great company. Well, at
least I'm making enough $ to afford re-currency.

It has been nearly 10 years since currency (I have commercial/
instrument sel) so I am wanting to purchase some software for the
purpose of re-learning & refreshing that which has lain dormant &
corroding.

I'd like to get current all the way through my commercial/instrument,
with future intentions of going back to school for CFI, multi, &
possible CFII and further.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation as I?

Could anyone suggest a place or two to go for re-currency software as
opposed to a book(s). Of course, I'll purchase all needed books but
I'm looking for a guide as to what I'l need to focus on in my studies
on the ground and in the air.

I might be able to do a, or several, weekend type courses if that's
something that's still around. I'm not looking for a "fast-track" type
of instruction, I really want to re-learn, and learn well, that which
I'll need to not just pass the orals & checkrides, but be a very safe
& competant pilot.

Thanks,

Ricky
