Built from two HE 111H bombers joined by a new wing centre section
carrying 3 engines, it was designed to tow the new heavy gliders - the
Me.321 and the Ju.322. It was brought into service only 3 months
after prototype build and was, apparently, quite successful. With
the pilot in the left fuselage and the copilot in the right there
could have been some interesting CRM issues ;-)
