WHAT are they doing off the approach end of the runway?? It looks as if
they shortened both the taxiway and runway to accommodate some type of
incompatible development.


looking at some current aerials and bird's eye images , it appears that
they have dug up the end of the runway and taxiway to put a tunnel under
the area. to help straighten out 58th street.
