Default SZD Canopy Info

The 48-3 and 59 have the same canopies.

Jacek

Thanks all for answers. I do know the 48-3 and 59 are the same, but
more importantly I solved the problem I was trying to with my original
question as to whether the 55 shares the canopy with the 48-3/59
(which it does not, figured out by inspecting factory drawings more
closely and then confirmed by another post). The Platinum Canopy Cap
folks (Franklin Fabrication) kindly got in touch with me after seeing
my post here and gave me the specific measurement points they use to
make new patterns.

If anyone is interested in having one of these fine covers made for
their ship and it too also is not yet on the list of available covers,
I can send you the .pdf that Franklin Fab sent me which illustrates
quite clearly what they need to add your plane. These covers are
nothing short of amazing, and convenient doesn't even begin to
describe the usefulness of them, plus they look really slick. If you
live somewhere warm/hot, or even just sunny, your getup is really
quite incomplete without one of these...
http://www.easycanopycovers.com/ watch the embedded vids halfway
down the page to see fellas removing their own covers and stowing them
unassisted- while buckled in their ships! Try that with any other
cover while gridded... 'we don't need no stinkin umbrellas!'
