We need to replace the quick drain on the bottom of our Lyc O-360-A1A. The

torque and any recommended thread sealant?

The Lyc manual says 160 inch pounds for a half-inch pipe plug,
which is what that fitting should be (pipe is measured internally; the
thread itself will be around 3/4" or 7/8" OD). That's 13.3 foot-
pounds. A lot less than most guys will wind up on it. I use Permatex
Form-A-Gasket as a sealant. Don't use teflon tape.
