The pub is modernised, naturally. It's just "The Palmerston" now and
it's surrounded by modern shops. Behind it is houses. There was an
antique market just closing up in the street beside it. I went into
the Londis shop and it was difficult to imagine the terror, pain and
misery I would have been surrounded by 65+ years ago.

Life goes on. There were dinosours killing other dinosaurs on this
spot many millions of years ago.
