pete i used 3/4 x 1/2 inch open cell foam with one of the 3/4" wide
sides sticky backed. *one strip on the airplane side and another stip
on the control surface side. seems to have worked fine on the
cherokee.

ORR you could just buy a Cherokee or move to Kansas!
