Default La Ferté Alais 2010 - FW-190

Hello,

after posting the "Little Ones" series, and before the next one I am
still preparing (among thousands orther things), here is a picture of a
FW 190 replica.
This a/c ditched yesterday in Hyères (south of France - LFTH) during
rehearsal of this week-end's meeting. The motor failed during a
barrel-roll. The pilot flew the a/c to the nearby sea, and landed (? ,
watered ?), touched the sea at nearly 250km/h (135kts). He escaped safe
of the wrecked plane.

Marc Mathis is an very skilled pilot, well known in air-shows for his
inverted flights with his Zlin 526.
The new built FW 190 is owned by Christophe Jacquard, who also owns a a
Spitfire (the former two-prepeller-one), is awaiting a Sea Fury, and
previously owned flew a T-28, a Yak-11, a P-51, a P-40, a F4U, a
Spitfire, a Yak-3, a L-39 Albatros...)
