On the other side, I am very sympathetic to everyone involved in this
process. *It is a lot of work and getting sites to commit 9 months
ahead of time is hard enough. *Two plus years may be impossible.

Organizers have the same issue(s) as competitors; need as much lead
time as possible. Too many politics being played out by the selection
committee and IMO if this continues it will be yet another
contributing factor to the decline of participants and organizers.
