I use the XCOM 760 radio and have had only a few issues with it when
it was first produced in Australia. *Since working out the problems I
had with the microphone the radio works well. *The "Dual Watch"
function, I have found to be very useful during the landing phase as I
use it to listen for other radio traffic from the other gliders who
may not have switched frequencys. *The memory functions are also very
useful for programming in ASOS or AWOS information. *The radio also
allows you to program it through a PC for the memory channels. *The
XCOM website has a lot of information about it. *Wiring is critical, I
had some trouble with it to begin with. It has been working flawlessly
since.

In the past year I have installed a Microair and Flightline. Both
radios were purchased from Tim Mara and both are working flawlessly.
The Microair has a alphanumeric memory display which is very
convenient.
