Somewhat revolutionary (for me), I actually returned to my point of
takeoff yesterday after a good cross country flight. *I took the new-

Had a good time, finished the task, and didn't need a retrieve. *I can
see why you guys like more L's and fewer D's. *Check out the final

Stop cheating ! Get out there and do it with the Cherokee.
See ya, Dave (who had a tough time getting home Friday)

heh Dave. Before yesterday I was determined that I was going to do
all the diamonds in my Cherokee. But man, I was so beat when I got
back I felt like I earned it. Plus I flew so darn slow that it was
very Cherokee-like speedwise So now I will just have to work on
doing a 300 km task in the Cherokee to prove it can be done (it can, i
almost did it last year).

JJ - logs show Diamond Distance June 21, 1975 from DCA (Douglas County
Airport?) to Dolomite to Hawthorne, that the one? Also see your name
in there for a few repairs in 1978, do you recall the reason they were
required?
