Please excuse my attemp to give unasked advice...

As a general rule, when scanning from a "halftone" print, in your
scanning software you should always:
- disable any "auto sharpening" filters,
- apply the optional "descreen" filter.

you will be surprised by the increased quality of the resulting image.
