Actually, it was flying west for a week's trip to see the Grand Canyon,
Monument Valley, Sedona etc. Of course, Tucson was too close to miss the
opportunity to visit the Pima museum and the Davis Monthan boneyard. I
spend the winters in Florida and the trip west was another item ticked off
on my bucket list.

I took Alan's comment as referring to the plane, not you! :-) (AS fly into
Phoenix from both Seattle and Portland according to the map on their
website, I did wonder if they had expanded into offering Mexico from Phoenix
but it seems not).
