I'm reconsidering but still enjoying hearing about all that's available in
the world. The Mio S501 has its own internal logger which, I believe, is
valid for OLC claims. I also have a Cambridge 302 connected to a Compaq
Aero 1550 running Glide Navigator II, so I'm good for badges (got 'em all)
and records (not interested).
It appears that, running XCSoar, I'll have all the GPS functions from the
internal reciever and the glide functions are synthesized from GPS data and
displayed on a 3D terrain map. I can compare these to the actual readings
displayed on the Compaq. This is gonna be fun! Now, if the weather would
only cooperate on the days that I'm not towing or hiking with my Sweetie...
