It's amazing what you can find if you put the registration into Google!

It's a Focke-Wulf Fw 44J Stieglitz (Goldfinch). Registered as G-STIG, but
nothing to do with Top Gear. It was part of the Shuttleworth Collection,
but according to the G-INFO database it's now in the USA.

Thanks for that useful bit of information Peter. Can't help but feel if I
knew what the registration was, I'd have done that. But alas, all I could
see was D-2692 and that returned no results. Nor did the Shuttleworth
collection website have it listed. I'll go direct to you in future to get
the information I don't have ;-)
