Why?
Glen was considerate enough to provide two versions of the same image.
One for luddites and one for those with a proper usenet client.
I was able to view both without issue.

I think you must have missed the smiley at the and of my message. My
comment was meant at a jibe against the Yenc haters A.K.A. "Luddites".
As far as I am concerned, I am thankful that people like Glen take the
time to post pictures for us to enjoy.

I didn't miss the smiley, and I understood that you were anticipating
the flood of derision.
I was just pointing out that those who might have complained had no
reason for complaint.

....and I am always thankful that there are those such as Glen who take
the trouble to share images. I just wish I had more opportunities to
capture more original aviation images to share, than I have been able
to.
