How do you keep Prairie Dogs out of the Parowan Airport?

When mice give the prairie dogs the plague, the ferrets die also.
It's cyclical. We have prairie dogs and methods to try to keep them
under control. If our neighbors would do the same, the problem would
be easier. The National Black-Footed Ferret Recovery Center is 6.75
miles NNE of the glider port. I spent a fair amount of time driving
the winch during a year and watching all manner of birds, raptors, and
ground critters and have yet to see a ferret. If they'd give me a
few, I'd re-introduce them at the glider port;^)
