Default The TLP. The most interesting military excercise in Europe. Lots of arcraft from all NATO countries

Hi

Not something which would be useful for spotters in the US or in the far
east but it gives a bit of an idea of what spotters in Western Europe do
when they want to see aircraft of various NATO countries together.

If you ever happen to be in the neighbourhood of Belgium and you would like
to see Belgian F-16's. German, Italian and RAF Tornado's, Harriers, French
Mirages, Turkish, Greece, Dutch, Norwegian, Danish F-16s all flying
together, well then it time to visit the TLP.

Because the Belgian airbase has become very popular amongst aircraft
enthusiasts, we have created a special section on our website concerning the
TLP excercise. The last months Sascha Jussen has worked very hard to put an
extensive website together.

At http://tlp.scramble.nl you will find the following

- History of Florennes and the TLP
- All about the normal flying operations
- Tips and tricks.
- Maps and routedescription to the airbase
- Sattelite picture
- Best photospots
- Extensive reports of the past excercises. all arrival and departure dates
- Lots of great pictures
- A dedicated messageboard for all reports / logs / comments etc

I would like to thank Sascha Jussen for creating all this !

Have a look !
