landing in North Vietnam -

About 320,000 Chinese served in Vietnam during the "American War", and
they took 5,300 casualties, including 1,100 killed.

About 22,000 Russians served in Vietnam, with one source saying that
18 were killed. Some 885 were pilots, who likely engaged in combat.
