Default New video of gliders racing 1000 ft above the desert

Great video! Great ridge day? What were the local winds and how was it
on the ground in Hurricane?
Is there always a tow now at Hurricane? JET and his Maule?

T

The winds were 3-5 knots from the west on the ground and 1000 feet up
on the ridge we were seeing 16 knots very steady from the southwest.
It wasn't just a ridge day. We had lots of fun playing around the area
down low. Check out all our igc files on the OLC from March 15-16.

Yes, we asked John and his Maule to come tow us. There were five of
us for a few days so he was very accommodating and brought down the
the plane from Parowan. He said he would be happy to do it again if we
can get at least 3 people to get a few days worth of tows.
