Hi,
I found a very nice spot to take photos of the gliders on final approach to
landing on Day 5 (Thursday) of the World Gliding Championships in Uvalde,
Texas. *Thank you to photographer Yasuhiro YAMA for his recommendation of
this photo location.
The complete set of photos is he

My favorite shot is this one of Dick Butler in his Concordia sailplane.

There are out on task on Day 6 now. *The task set is a long one - so I don't
expect them back before 6 or 7 PM U.S. Central Time.
Good Soaring,

It's already 6:30pm cst; getting darker; weather coming in twrds
Uvalde; and they're still out on course. Looks like DB was a bit
behing, then recently caught up with SS not too far behind the leaders
so far. Might be a challenge to finish w/o landing out?
