The official website seems to have Day 3 tasks posted, but see

The WGC tasks have been long and creative which makes me wonder just how creative a CD could get. How about a giant circle with the pilots flying around the outside. The circumference of the circle would set a minimum distance but a wider circle could be flown for an unlimited maximum distance.
If the concern was to keep the pilots close, how about a Maltese Cross with 12 legs and 8 remote turn points and the airfield in the center as a start/finish and repeated use turn point. A 600km task would keep the pilots within a 50km final glide of the airport. This would make a great XC training task.
