Except the V2 has an internal GPS without traffic
smoothing, so will be more accurate where precise
positioning is required, eg: for wind calculation for
thermal drift. And although there's nothing to stop you
running other Windows CE software on the Oudie, you're
still effectively paying for SeeYou Mobile.

Of course if you use an external GPS source and like
SYM anyway, there's no practical difference.
