Bendix King AV8OR and LX Nav Nano
Hi Greg. While not the same setup as you, I've been using an av8or and Colibri for a couple of years now (1.5?). Works fine for me as there but there is also an lx1606 in the mix as well.
I had the same issue with nonconnection until I up'd the baud rate on the two devices to 38400 (something higher than 19200). Even though the lx1606 is plug and play with recognizing the individual baud rates, manually setting them did the trick for me.
I ended up making my own connector for my panel needs using the 10pin mini USB solder type connector found on eBay. They're a pain to solder on as they're small, but with patience and practice (and many missed attempts) I was able to do it. If you go this route, give me a shout as the pinouts are labeled backward on the av8or, or at least inconsistent with the terminology you can get from the Bendix guys.
Anyway, baud rate and consistent cabling should do the trick.
Also (now that I'm remembering), I had to manually set the proper com port for the task upload before submitting. The 'self awareness' com selecting feature didn't work for me on my version of seeyou mobile.
So baud rate, proper cabling and correct com ports ( I think mine ended up being com4) and you should be fine.
