Weekly Grand Prix Rules Racing in Condor
Tony,
That is actually fairly likely. Dan Sahzin (USNSGP Contest Director) uploads a task briefing to gliderracing.com (scoring sight for Monday Night Soaring, Nightly Soaring, etc) well prior to the scheduled race time. This task briefing then becomes visible to competitors 1 hr prior to the start time (8pm) so nobody has the opportunity to fly the task before the actual race and develop a more informed strategy then the others.
The US Nightly Soaring Grand Prix is always limited a single class (15, 18, Open or even PW5). As Daniel has a strong affection for his 126, he enjoys PW5 racing in Condor more than most. I would not be surprised (or disappointed) to see a PW5 Grand Prix happen. You should be encouraged to send Daniel a request for the PW5 Grand Prix yourself.
In addition, Daniel will happily give anyone who requests it a heads up on the class that will be used ahead of time (perhaps a plane pack is needed for club class, for example).
Good luck and hope to see you at the Grand Prix,
Sean
