Default Flarm Prices?

Add to that, yesterday the SNB scrapped its cap on the Franc
compared to the (falling) Euro, so the Franc just jumped 10%
compared to the dollar.

Yep, if you haven't already done so, better get a FLARM
before they have to raise the prices ;-)

Dave was correct, of course - just received this today.

Dear PowerFLARM Dealers,

As you probably know, on January 15, the Swiss Central Bank (SNB) let go of the EUR/CHF peg of 1.20. The exchange rate immediately fell to around 1.00.. Consequently, the revenue of companies based in switzerland decreased with the same percentage. FLARM Technology, the manufacturer of PowerFLARM products is also based in Switzerland, and therefore is affected as well.

To ensure the sustainability of PowerFLARM Products, new prices for PowerFLARM products are valid with immediate effect. All orders placed from now on will be with the new prices. Already submitted quotes and orders placed before today are of course not affected.

Normally (exchange rates usually move slowly), we give some weeks of notice.. In this extreme case, we however need to act immediately. Sorry for the inconvenience this causes.

Other collision avoidance products, like for example our TRX line of products, remain unaffected by this price change.

If you have questions regarding collision avoidance products, PowerFLARM and alternatives, please feel free to contact us!

Best regards,
Marc Förderer
