Never flown a Scout, but fly a Pawnee off soft turf all the time and it is absolutely no big deal - except for getting mud splashed on your face if you taxi too fast with the window down ;^).

Super Cub with a big engine and Borer prop is OK too, but you have to watch for prop strike and not be too aggressive bringing the tail up at the start of the takeoff.

Note that we have bigger than stock tires on our towplanes - not tundra, just a size up. That really helps when it's soft.
