Default Becker AR4201 hookup...

Maybe you have the same email after many years....
Also maybe you obtained RS232 protocol from Becker. May you help me with it?

Robert, I have a 4201 and I think you may have been mislead. It does
have a 25 pin D-sub connector, but it is not rs-232 controlled. The
connector is only for "normal" radio hook-ups; i.e. mic, ptt,

I found this on Becker's website (www.becker-avionics.com): "Using the
RS-232 interface, all functions can be remotely operated. With this
standard feature the AR4201 can be easily integrated in future BECKER
avionic products."

Can anybody verify by checking their manual? I've e-mailed Becker twice
with no reply (which unfortunately does not give me a lot of faith in their
customer support).
