Dashing Crosswind
Brunch actually. Looks like he took a slightly different route than what has become "normal" when transitioning from Hawk Mountain. He made the "Blue Mountain Transition" (which is actually what the pioneers of long flights out of Blairstown used to do). Unfortunately, that ridge isn't especially well-shaped and is very East/West oriented (i.e. prefers a Northerly wind direction). Today's winds look to have shifted a couple of times between NW and WNW. I'm sure we'll hear the story when he gets back later today.
