A US glider designer named Gross produced some 4-place gliders in the 1935,
and one of them was owned by the Purdue University gliding club.
Does anyone have pictures of such a glider? The designer has been tracked
to Akron, I believe and their historical society has some information about
him.
I AM OFFERING AN ORIGINAL OF A GROSS 4-PLACE GLIDER ON EBAY -- SEARCH THE NAME AND IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE AUCTION
I will be the 1st to raise the potential, "BS" flag......
Give us a better hint, maybe someone will bite........
Otherwise, I call "BS" on this post......
It's a picture!
Dr. Frank R. Gross designed the Baker-MacMillan Cadet, the Akron Condor, the Sky Ghost and a 4-place glider. At the NSM we have a photo of Wolfgang Klemperer sitting in the 4-place.
