Things at Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center have gotten much

regarding insects and critters. During the Gemini launches and Apollo
moon
launches we not only dodged the mosquitoes but also the wild boar and
gators
that we range rats displaced. Even now occasionally a Cape worker's car
hits a
gator, but more and more of the roads are paved !!

Al, during one of the first explorer missions (unsuccessful) my dad killed
an 8(eight) foot rattlesnake IN the blockhouse, 16 rattles, I still have
it.......

or 60's.......
