Yeah. Well we expect our political leaders to keep us out of war

Nope I'm simply pointing out that by 1941 the RAF had 2 years
of experience in air warfare and the US had none.

The Americans were ultimately able to make daylight precision bombing pay

off,
although not the way they intended, that is true.
