All these emails make me realize how lucky we are in Boulder, CO. Our little airport is right in town, there's great infrastructure (university, great restaurants, breweries; Denver and Denver Int'l are just 40 min away, etc), we have an active club w/ ~150 members and excellent club equipment, we fly on any day of the week, 12 months per year; there are great soaring conditions (10-15kt thermals from April to October up to 17,999; wave from November through March; 300+ days of sunshine/year). Cost of living, while high compared to the Midwest, is much cheaper than London, US East Coast, or Cali metros. And we're right at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains...
