We received initial word from their club that it was an off field landing
attempt. He was trying to land in an area of small horse pastures
which were cris-crossed with fences. On approach, he apparently
clipped a tree on the edge of the pastures with his right wing. The
impact with the tree flipped him inverted, and it was all over at that
point....
