Hey, Art, have you seen this game yet? I know you aren't a flight sim fan,
but
the Combat Flight Simulator game has some interesting functions that you may
find interesting. In its latest form, CFS 3 contains the ability to ride in
the 344th BS aircraft, in all of the gunner positions, pilot, or bombadier
position. The game lets you fly a campaign aboard the ship, attacking
airfields and logistics. Not surprising, the game sends you out after a lot
of
bridges, where I always seem to collect a few "virtual" flak holes. Looking
out through that glass nose while Fritz chucks dozens of 88 shells in your
path
sure doesn't look much fun. I know its just a game, but it does give some
appreciation for the difficulties your mates faced, except for the beer at my
elbow and my son giving helpful advice,etc...

Thanks for the heads up. sounds interesting. I'll take a look. Wish I'd kept my
old flak jacket and helmet.((:-))
