I was wondering if anyone that knows about owning a UH-1 would be
willing to talk to me about it (off list if you want, or on
list..maybe others would be interested).

While in LA I saw a private UH-1B at Van Nuys airport. N46928 is listed as
being owned by San Joaquin Helicopters in Delano, Cal.
Maybe you can look them up and give them a buzz.
