Default Certification of AT-3, a JAR/VLA plane

AT-3, a Polish all-metal twoseater in the JAR/VLA category, which had
already its Polish and British certificates, received at 21 January
2005 the EASA Type-Certificate.
Motorised with a Bombardier-Rotax 912-S2 or S4, it is approved for
Day-VFR operations with a MTOW of 582 kg (MLW is the same). The VNE is
of 127 kt IAS, proved VS (stall speed) is of 44 kt, and max cruise of
116 kt.
At this moment, it is the least expensive certified aircraft, the
lowest cost per hour certified aircraft, and a perfect basic trainer -
with an easy transition to other GA aircraft.
