just started (4 hours done) of training to do a ppl here in uk.
wondering opinions and any advice as to employment chances when passed. . .


Slim to none.
Sorry - but that's the way it is - someone should tell you now while you
only have 4 hours.

If you then continue and take your commercial, multi, IFR and float, and
then build 1000 hours your chances improve.

But if you honestly believe that you can take your ppl and then find
reasonably paid employment in aviation, you should know right now that
you have an unrealistic goal - and if you are going into serious debt to
obtain your ppl, now is the time to consider the realities.

Having said that, it is one of the most rewarding things that you can
do, and there is always the possibility that you can rise to the
position of captain on a major airline.

And, of course, you can always try to get all of your training free, and
rise quickly, by joining the RAF.
