I've started carrying my Inreach in a fanny pack. They are cheap, and if rotated so the pack lies between parachute straps, offer a comfortable way to keep safety equipment attached in the event of a baleout.

Be aware there are several ways to put on a fanny pack that can interfere with parachute deployment. Best thing is one of those pouches designed and built by a rigger(even if you have to buy one from the 20 year lifescam guy.)

Our local rigger has added hard points to a few parachutes, and built pouches specifically for your tracker that keeps it secure, in a good place to see the sky, and will not interfere with parachute deployment.
It can be made much smaller than the pack from the "after 20 years cut the suspension lines" guy, so you won't notice the tracker on your shoulder.
Doing the mod at repack time seems easiest.
