I would get something like that new from a piper dealer.

Try Muncie http://www.muncieaviation.com
or www.piperparts.com or www.dmfs.com

Hi,

I own a 1967 Cherokee 235B and am in need of a prop cable. Does
anyone know where I might be able to find a PMA'd new one, or a
salvage company that may have one? I've tried Aircraft Spruce, and
McFarlands and neither have a PMA'd cable for early Pipers as well as
a couple salvage company's (including Wentworth) with no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.

TIA.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to avoid Piper if possible for this
one. The guy I bought the plane from said he paid $625.00 for a new
cable in '97 and it only lasted 300 hours. Now it's a modest $425.00!
I wouldn't mind the price if it were built well, but the construction
of the vernier is pretty shoddy so I'm hoping to obtain one from
somewhere other than the factory.

You're links did help, and are now book marked.

Thanks again.
