Except maintaining total control throughout every manouevre Ken!
It's interesting to note that for both the Flanker and the MiG-29, during
certain parts of the manouevres thay are most famous for, that the pilot
is simply along for the ride. Never seen a Flanker even approximate the
Typhoon's velocity vector roll. . . .

Is that the one where the Typhoon slows down so that its opponent overshoots,
thereby putting itself in front of the Typhoon - to be immediately shot down
?? (at least thats how the commentator put it).

But isn't that what a Cobra does - and doesn't everyone say that such a
manouvre is of no use in combat and that its only an airshow routine?

And - at what point is the Flanker 'out of control' ?? and if it is - how
soon is it recovered ?
