I don't understand what they are intending to do with SeeYou Navigator. They have a fundamental problem that if they make their Android app too good they will destroy the market for the Oudie. In many ways SeeYou Navigator is very attractive and almost an alternative to Oudie or XC Soar, but it does not have some features which are essential for a primary glide computer/navigation system. One example is routes/tasks - you can only set a single waypoint to go to. I believe it requires a SeeYou subscription which is obviously a disadvantage compared to XC Soar. It incorporates rain radar, satellite images, Skysight or Top Meteo weather and OGN traffic info. Are any of these currently available in XC Soar? Oudie lets you load weather forecasts using Naviter Updater (much less convenient than the full integration in Navigator) but not the other aspects.

Oudie IGC is still the gold standard in my opinion, incorporating an all day battery, an IGC flight recorder and engine noise level recording. But today XC Soar is a very persuasive alternative to a regular Oudie, SeeYou Navigator could easily be made to overtake XC Soar and maybe justify a subscription but that would require addition of sufficient features to render a non-IGC Oudie obsolete.

They have also just released an app called See You Navigator that is available for Android and iOS! It is not a full fledged flight computer yet but does have a lot of nice features including integration with SkySight and TopMeteo and they are promising quick development of additional features..

FLARM but what about POWER FLARM for North AMerica?
I suspect they will chose not to go thru the FCC approval process for PowerFlarm. It is very expensive. 25K or more.
