Is this guy that put a pole up in a small clearimg amd tied a rope to
it and ran the other end of the rope to his airplane and ran it
through some of the structure of his bird and held the end.

He thern put on power and went around in a circle until he had flying
speed and let go of the rope and flew away.

life, Jungle Pilot. He also devised a system where he could feed fuel
directly into the intake maifold in the event of carburetor icing or
failure. Quite a resourceful guy.
