direct drive. One of the questions may be if the prop/hub will suffer

Don't reject PSRU, You will gain HP/lbs ratio. This engine is able to
deliver 160-180HP with more fuel (and torque) in the 3000-3500 rpm
range.

The limitation factor is the torque (350Nm).
