Didn't Jo and Chas own and operate a nimbus 3 for some years? They must
have had sopme reasons for going back top 1-26 and PW-5?

Nope, not in a 1-36.
Since a 1-34 would provide all of these with similar low speed
performance to the Grob, similar cost, and still be a Schweizer, he
must just want to go slower.

wife - Joann and Charles Shaw have been active 1-26 pilots for decades,
