Yes, there are various Tablet (WinXP) devices. Some of

the 800x600
ones are compact enough, but then (for European coverage) one has to
run Windows based software, which usually looks poor in 800x600.



Yes. I am waiting for a small form factor 1024x768 screen
from Motion or someone. "LS1000" maybe.

If you are thinking about this route, be sure to test fly
the computer screen. I have an HP TC1100 and it is very
difficult to read in the cockpit, though I think it is as
good as other non "View Anywhere" screens. I think you will
want the view-anywhere type design. (The AvMap IV screen is
excellent BTW; a friend just bought one and I got to play
with it a bit.)
