I fly out of Reid-Hillview at Nice Air. I have no direct experience with
ASA, all I have to offer is that they didn't hang around long at RHV. I
believe they were there for a year or so and then closed up shop and moved
to A****er, just recently. Of course that could very simply be that there
are quite a few successful FBO's at Reid-Hillview and it was simply a better
business decision (in their view) to go somewhere where the rent was better
and the competition', less.

They did had some minor accidents in April 2005 at RHV (a student misjudged
a flare and landed exceptionally hard) and I believe one of their planes (in
a dual flight) dinged one of the taxiway fixtures at Hollister airport the
year before. Let me stress that stuff like this happens at FBO's all over
the country so I wouldn't put any weight on the latter. Just trying to give
ya all I know about A.S.A. which isn't much.
