will give you a map view of weather stations with surface temperature/

If you're familiar with Weather Underground *Wundermaps, it pretty
much will give you the same view as well as detailed info and trends
on specific sites.

Wouldn't say that. It was used at last years Swiss Nationals and
Junior Nationals for live tracking of 8-10 competitors and -
admittedly over densely populated areas i.e good cellphone coverage
most of the time - worked fine!
