G'day All,

it's a long time since I have posted a group of pictures here, but finally
got some time to process another roll of negatives. This is about 20 of them
all dating to the early 60's at Kinsford Smith in Sydney. A lot of them were
taken from the tower & on the ground next to the tower.

A couple of the B-47 that the US sent out here to let the RAAF have a look
at one as an intrim replacement 'till they got the F-111s - sensibly they
opted for the Phantom!!

Another interesting one is the Ilyushin Il-18 - if I am wrong please correct
me - but I am pretty sure that was the first Russian civil airliner to land
in Australia.

As always I would really appreciate it if you corrected any of my
descriptions or could provide me withe the correct 'sub-species' so as to
speak.

My apologies for the quality of the pictures but the negatives have not been
kept in the right conditions.
